Startup HighTouch is developing software that enables the company to extract data from data warehouses into applications—as opposed to the normal ETL process—that has raised $40 million in Series B financing. HighTouch software copies data from data warehouse tables to tables in SaaS applications, such as Salesforce. Data analysis is done inside the SaaS application, not in the data warehouse. HighTouch integrates with BigQuery, Snowflake and Databricks, as well as enterprise applications such as Anaplan, HubSpot, Mixpanel, Salesforce, Stripe, and Jira. You can set a strategy to define the synchronization frequency to keep the target application synchronized with the data changes in the source warehouse.

SaaS data protector HYCU launched the Global PACE (Partner Accelerated Cloud Environment) program. It eliminates the level of participation and makes it easier for partners to sell HYCU services. There are separate tracks for managed service providers (MSP), cloud service providers (CSP), and managed security service providers (MSSP), as well as enhanced features for resellers and distributor partners. The plan has a zero-conflict commitment, a guarantee deposit, a minimum advertising price, and a seed and advanced level.

JetStream Software has announced the general availability of JetStream disaster recovery for the Azure VMware solution (AVS), which is available through the Microsoft Azure market and sold by the Microsoft sales team. Microsoft and Jetstream said that this is the first cloud-native disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS) for VMware-based clouds and local VMware environments. The integration with NetApp enables Azure NetApp Files (ANF) to support storage expansion of larger data sets independent of computing, thereby achieving faster recovery time and near-zero RTO at a lower cost. The product combines Azure Blob storage, JetStream DR (VMware certification), Azure VMware solutions and ANF storage extensions. Microsoft and JetStream said it will fundamentally change the economics of enterprise disaster recovery.
