The Corcom filter IH series is designed to help reduce EMI in the frequency range of 150KHz to 300MHz required by FCC Part 15 and EN55011 and EN 55022 standards.

TE Connectivity (TE) released the Corcom IEC inlet RFI filter IH series, which can suppress conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) in equipment used in medical environments that require C18 ungrounded inlets. These inlet RFI filters can also be used in laboratories, test and measurement equipment.

According to TE, their Corcom filter IH series can help medical device manufacturers comply with the international standard IEC 60601-1, which sets specific safety requirements for household equipment. Due to the aging population and the trend of Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity to support remote patient monitoring, the home healthcare market is expected to grow rapidly. The Corcom filter IH series meets strict safety standards and is classified as meeting 2MOPP requirements (two patient protection methods, also known as double insulation). TE added that the RFI filter helps to attenuate EMI in the frequency range of 150KHz to 300MHz and meets the requirements of FCC Part 15 and EN55011 and EN 55022 standards.

TE's Corcom filter IH series is designed to work perfectly with medical equipment. The filtered entrance integrates a notch in the entrance to make it compatible with the V-Lock locking rope. This feature helps to minimize accidental disconnection of the power cord from the medical device. They are designed for quick assembly and utilize 4.8 mm spade terminals for quick assembly. Corcom filter IH series can provide snap-in installation for quick installation or flange for ultra-rigid installation.
