Imported cooling system solutions and maintenance

Sponsored by CRP Automotive, the company brings you REIN cars

Have you noticed that many European cars and SUVs no longer have the coolant replacement intervals listed in the service information? This may be because the cooling system needs to be repaired or replaced before this interval. It can be a hose, a plastic connector or a water pump. Your store has options. Some replacement parts may be better than original parts. When dealing with the complexity and longevity of today's vehicles, these parts can create a win-win situation for your store and customers.

These solutions can simplify maintenance and prevent future failures. In a 45-minute webinar sponsored by CRP Automotive, the company that brought you Rein Automotive, we will introduce six common cooling system repairs for BMW, Audi and Volkswagen. These repair solutions will cover more than 6 million cars on the road today.

Ensuring that their engine starts every time is invaluable to your customers. Taking a risk on an "economical" alternator or starter can affect the confidence of customers in their vehicle or even your store.

When GM engineers design an alternator or starter for any new GM car, they must overcome factors such as high temperatures under the hood, increased power requirements, and vibration. Unfortunately, these components can quickly damage "substandard" alternators or starters.

For many engineering equations, a single weak component can determine the life of the unit. It may be bearings, grease, or even how to protect the windings of the rotor or armature from corrosion. First, the engineer must ensure that all potential weaknesses are eliminated.

Take the bearing as an example. Inside the starter, bearings ensure that the armature is aligned with the flywheel so that it can rotate freely. For alternators, bearings ensure that the rotor can rotate within the stator with minimal resistance, thereby improving fuel efficiency. If each bearing does not meet the OE specifications, noise will be generated and then a sudden failure will occur.

The quality of the bearing depends on the lubricant inside. The temperature inside an alternator or starter can liquefy most grease in a few seconds. The best alternators and starters use the most advanced greases that can withstand high temperatures and pressures.

ACDeco provides three grades of alternators, which can give your customers confidence when starting their vehicles.

ACDelco's GM original parts original equipment alternators have newly manufactured components. These original equipment alternators are manufactured specifically for the installation of GM vehicles and provide the same performance and durability as the original alternators.

The new ACDelco Gold alternator is manufactured with all new components and is an ideal high-quality replacement for many vehicles on the road today. The voltage stabilizer of the alternator is computer-tested to ensure voltage stability, terminal function and the integrity of the electronic circuit board. These high-quality after-sales replacement components are designed to meet your expectations for installation, form and function.

ACDeco's gold professional remanufactured alternator is a high-quality alternative, very suitable for all brands and models on the road today. ACDeco's Gold Remanufactured alternator uses high-quality bearings with high-temperature lubricant and double-lip rubber seals. The rotor and stator are electronically tested and then sealed with a secondary insulating coating.

Why take the risk by installing an alternator or starter that might get them into trouble, so that customers can have confidence in their vehicles? For more information about ACDelco alternators and starters, please visit ACDelco.com/parts/alternators.
